Medium evergreen fruiting tree. Dense upright growth. Grafted trees can commence cropping after 3 years. Bacon produces medioum sized fruit with smooth green thin skin that peels easily. Light yellow flesh with a little green near the skin. Light texture. Best cold climate variety. B group variety. Improved crops with cross pollination when planting together and A and B group variety. 

Full sun, protected from strong winds. Prefers moist, fertile, well-draining, sandy loam, slightly acidic soils.
