Quick Facts:

A large deciduous tree. With a large buttressed base, the stem diameter can be as large as 2 metres. The heartwood is a rich red colour and very fragrant. The leaves are alternate, pinnate and consist of 3-12 leaflets. Each leaflet resembles an ordinary leaf.
