Quick Facts:
Medium sized tree. Prefers warm sunny site with free draining fertile soils that are well mulched. Fertilise, water and make sure week free in July/August to ensure healthy productive tree. The Washington Navel is the most popular backyard orange grown in Australia. It produces medium to large sweet and juicy oranges ripening in mid winter. Skin is relatively easy to peel and being a navel, the fruit is seedless.
