Quick Facts:

A very showy cultivar, with darker pink flowers and a better form than is common for the species. Excellent for smaller parks and gardens. Prefers a moist, deep, well drained fertile soil. Best foliage colour in full sun. Erect, rounded large shrub to small tree. Abundant clusters of deep rose-purple pea-like flowers bourne along the bare branches before the leaves emerge in spring.
