Quick Facts:
Highly resistant to powdery mildew. Adaptable to a range of conditions, however is best in moist, well drained, slightly acidic soils in a position receiving full sun. Moderate drought and heat tolerant. A small upright tree with masses of dark coral-pink flowers and showy, sinuous bark. Suitable for small gardens and growing containers. Coral-pink flowers with golden anthers are produced in large panicles on the tips of current season's growth. Flowers for up to 80 days in warmer areas, from early to mid-summer. Pruning in winter will encourage the production of larger flower heads the following summer.
