Possibly the best of the red-flowering cultivars. The coral red flowers and highly ornamental bark make this tough small tree a useful specimen or screening tree. Can also be used as a street tree.

Known for its coral-red flowers and smooth trunk. Highly resistant to powdery mildew. Tolerant of a wide range of site conditions.
