Quick Facts:

Dense crown. Bottle shaped bole is swollen and can be up to 2m in diameter and is often armed with spines. Produces creamy-white or pale yellow flowers in Autumn and Winter. Pear-like green fruits that split open to release seeds in dense mass of silky white hairs or floss. Prefers full sun but can tolerate some shade.
