Quick Facts:
Widespread in southeastern Australia, this is a small to tall tree. It is noted for its handsome, deeply furrowed, dark brown to almost black bark. The drooping narrow leaves are greyish green on both sides and the showy flowers are produced in hanging clusters of 7 through winter and early spring. They come in various shades of white, cream, pink or red and are an important source of honey.
